The Computer Olympiad 2000 (the 5th Computer Olympiad, see history page) took place from August 21st-25th 2000 at Alexandra Palace. Here is the tournament schedule.

There were insufficient entries for Backgammon, Bridge, Chinese Chess, Draughts, Othello, Poker and Scrabble.
Tournaments were held for each game for which there were sufficient entries. MSO Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were awarded to the leading programs in each tournament. Participants were allowed to use any type of computer, except for the chess tournament (=WMCCC) for which the computer had to be single-CPU.
